DJ Apollo has his roots in the Soulful sounds of the Stax, Atlantic and Motown labels, and has pursued that route through jazz, blues, gospel, old skool hip hop and funk. If he wasn't so white, he'd be one of the swingingest black men in town. With a weekly residency at Hubcap, Richmond, the Night Cat is the next logical step for Apollo, with the most energetic cool in Fitzroy. Apollo also loves a good wedding - and his are some of the best.

DJ Apollo's alter-ego, Brett Cropley, has been an award winning worker in radio, film, theatre, online and multimedia realms for the past 10 years, with accomplishments in educational and kids' multimedia, the WHODUNNIT Live Radio Plays Series (Community Broadcasting Association of Australia - Best Innovative New Program / Segment Idea 2003, Melbourne Fringe Festival - Director's Choice Award 2002) and, recently, helping Ollie Save the Planet.
